Volf's 1.11 drop mod version 3.0.0

Version 3.0.0 reaches out to a wider audience by adding a more traditional drop mod like difficulty, we call this difficulty training. Another new feature common in all difficulties is a magic find % passive skills, all characters have this and you choose how many skill points you invest in it. Check the feature lists for each difficulty for all changes.

This is a rather simple drop mod by volf for DiabloII expansion 1.11b patch. What makes this drop mod different from others is that the player gets to choose between 3 difficulty ranges on startup, easy, medium and hard. Each difficulty differs slightly, in the easies version you get wary powerful hirelings early in the game while in the hard version hirelings are as in the original game and monsters are stronger. Read more about the difficulties in the Features section.

If you want a mod that is close to the Unmodified version with better drops, realm only runewords and wider variety in difficulty, then this is the mod for you. On the other hand, if you want a drop mod in order to have an unfair advantage over other players in multiplayer games then stop reading, to prevent abuse of this mod characters will not be compatible with normal 1.11 patch characters.

Hosting for Mods and D2 Related

Just a reminder that we offer free cpanel hosting for Diablo related sites (within reason) such as clans or mods. We won’t force you to put any ads on any of your pages. Hosting comes will full support of common features such as php & mysql.

Don't get in the trap of starting your clan website on a free host such as invisionfree, forumer etc that don’t release your database to you. So if you ever wish to move your forums elsewhere or change to different software you will have no choice but to lose ALL posts.

Enquire by sending me a PM at the forums here

Median 2008 1.57b has been added to the downloads.

1.57 - 1.57b has a certain exploitable bug removed.
quote:
"A month late, version 1.57 has been released! Changes from version 1.56 include a completely new crafting system, level challenge tweaks and many skill changes to encourage the use of many formerly neglected builds."
